PARTNERS IN PHILANTHROPY PROGRAM
Building Philanthropy Partnerships: Empowering Collaboration for Greater Impact
At Individual Giving Success (IGS), we believe the most successful fundraising efforts are built on strong, mission-driven partnerships. Our Partners in Philanthropy program is designed to equip academic leaders, clinicians, board members, and volunteers with the tools, language, and confidence to actively support and elevate development goals.
We work alongside nonprofit teams to foster a culture of shared ownership—where fundraising is not just a function of the development office, but a collective commitment embraced across the organization.
Purpose
Build internal alignment and activate key institutional stakeholders as effective partners in fundraising so that development efforts are shared, strategic and mission-driven.
Why Our Services Are Needed
Too often, institutional partners are asked to support fundraising without clarity, coaching, or context. Development teams rely on them for cultivation, stewardship, and storytelling—but without proper support, this results in confusion, delays, and donor disengagement. Our program builds capacity and confidence through structured tools, interactive coaching, and relationship-based strategy.
Our Programs
The Partners in Philanthropy program strengthens internal alignment and builds shared ownership of fundraising success. We collaborate with board members, physicians, researchers, administrators, and academic leaders to deepen understanding of philanthropy, improve partnership with the development team, and create a culture of strategic donor engagement.
Strategic Stakeholder Engagement Assessment:
A targeted diagnostic to evaluate how well your institution engages key internal partners in philanthropy. We assess awareness, readiness, and barriers to donor engagement—then deliver a tailored action plan to strengthen alignment, clarify roles, and deepen collaboration between stakeholders and development teams.
